Harry Potter - The star of the show. A wizard currently enrolled at Hogwarts. He survived Lord Voldemort's evil powers when he was only a baby, and has a lightning scar on his forehead to prove it. Harry has funny black hair and glasses, and is the star seeker of the Gryffindor Quidditch team.
Hermione Granger - One of Harry's best friends. She is also a Gryffindor, and she is very smart. Hermione's favorite thing to do is study, she does it all the time! Hermione's parents were both Muggles, something she gets teased for by Draco Malfoy.
Ron Weasley - Harry Potter's other best friend. In Gryffindor just like the rest of his family, Ron comes from a big group of Weasley children. His family is poor, but they always welcome Harry into their home.
Hagrid - Care of Magical Creatures teacher at Hogwarts and Harry's special friend. He is a giant of a man with an equally big heart. Dumbledore often entrusts him with special errands, such as first retrieving Harry from the Dursleys.
Lord Voldemort - Also known as Tom Riddle and You-Know-Who by most of the wizarding world. A one-time student at Hogwarts, Voldemort uses his magical powers for evil deeds. His one defeat came when an infant, Harry Potter, resisted his powers and sucked them away from him. However, he is still lurking out there, perfecting his evil powers.
Professor Albus Dumbledore - The headmaster of Hogwarts. He is a kind old man with a long nose, a long white beard, and half-moon spectacles. Dumbledore is the only wizard Voldemort is afraid of.
